Lauren Conrad And Disney Have Teamed Up Again, And We Want Everything

It was just last month that Lauren Conrad combined her design skills and love of Disney to create a collection inspired by Cinderella for Kohl’s. Now, she’s at it again. This time, LC took inspiration from Minnie Mouse, and the results are excellent.
Lauren managed to come up with almost a dozen different looks, based off Minnie’s trademark polka dots. The 20-piece collection has everything from sporty matching separates to date night dresses.

Lauren Conrad

To start, Lauren went in the least costume-y direction possible with a navy tank topped with a polka dot collar, pairing it with some polka dot bow shorts that you can easily wear all summer long.

Lauren Conrad

There are plenty of print options, sleek enough to look abstract from afar but upon closer inspection consist of tiny Minnie Mouse icons.

Lauren Conrad

If you’re looking for something closer to Minnie Mouse’s actual wardrobe, Lauren made the perfect modern rendition of Minnie’s dress: an open-back printed red number. Priced at a friendly $40-$68, the collection hits Kohl’s on May 10th, so you have plenty of time to create your wish list.

You Can Put Your Relationship To The Test With These Beyonce And One Direction Quizzes

Drake once sang about how “girls love Beyoncè,” but really, almost everyone loves Beyoncè, right?
Still, a Twitter user named Fergyonce wants to weed out all those who don’t know about Queen Bey from her life. So she recently developed an “official” relationship quiz that also puts a SO’s Beyoncè knowledge to the test.
That’s right. Fergyonce gave her boyfriend a relationship test that the Bey Hive would be proud of. The stakes? “Must score 60% or higher to stay in the relationship.”

From twiter < I gave my boyfriend a Beyoncé exam to make sure we can stay together. He passed. >

The test includes a “finish the lyric” section and more, but it isn’t just about Beyoncè. It also features some interesting questions about her favorite male rappers (Kanye West and Jay Z, if you were wondering), her favorite female MC (Nicki Minaj) and a few One Direction-based queries.
Don’t worry. The boyfriend passed.
Thanks to her Tumblr page, you can use the test on your friends and significant other, too.
But Fergyonce isn’t stopping there. She’s already released a One Direction test and she’s got even more she plans on dropping soon.

Miley Cyrus Will Induct Fellow Badass Joan Jett Into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

Looks like Miley Cyrus is continuing her maturation from pop princess to aspiring punk. The “Wrecking Ball” singer will officially be inducting Joan Jett into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Yup, on Apr. 18, Cyrus will likely enrage rock ‘n’ roll purists when she takes the stage at the Public Hall in Cleveland to usher the legendary “Bad Reputation” singer into the hallowed halls of r ‘n’ r history. She joins the super-ubiqitious Paul McCartney, who is inducting Ringo Starr; Patti Smith, who will bring in the late Lou Reed; and Fall Out Boy, who will induct Green Day.

Cyrus’ participation in the event actually makes total sense. After dropping her hip-hop heavy BANGERZ, she’s been moving more into the alt/punk world of late, collaborating with Wayne Coyne from the Flaming Lips and worshipping at the feet of Riot Grrrl icon Kathleen Hanna. She also once sang with Jett on “Oprah,” so that’s cool.
Given that Miley only has a few weeks to prepare, we decided to help her out with her speech-making — using only lyrics from Joan Jett jams. This is only a jumping-off point, lady — we’ll let you round out the rest:
A girl can do what she wants to do — it’s a new generation. I love rock n’ roll — strange sounds too. She works real hard to try to make things right. She’s impossible to ignore. She teaches so the others will know: “I don’t really care if you think I’m strange — I ain’t gonna change. I don’t give a damn ’bout my reputation.”

Charli XCX Is ‘Doing It’ At The 2015 MTV Movie Awards With Ty Dolla $ign And Tinashe

The 2015 MTV Movie Awards was already set to be Hollywood’s biggest party of the year and the bash just got bigger now that Charli XCX has been added as a performer to rock the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles with her new single “Doing It” on Sunday.
Charli isn’t coming alone either, she’s bringing Ty Dolla $ign and Tinashe with her to perform Ty’s new one, “Drop That Kitty.” Buzzfeed broke the news on Thursday (Apr. 9) and we couldn’t be more excited.

The “Boom Clap” singer will join an amazing list of past Movie Awards performers like Rihanna, NSYNC, Eminem and Amy Winehouse and we fully expect her to bring her own unique flavor to the stage.
It's up to you to decide the winners of the 2015 MTV Movie Awards! Vote now, and tune in Sunday, April 12 at 8/7c as host Amy Schumer takes the stage at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Taylor Swift Announces Her Mom Has Cancer: 'This Is Something I Thought You Should Know'

Taylor Swift shared a sad family update on her Tumblr this morning (April 9): Her mom, Andrea, has been diagnosed with cancer.
"This is something my family and I thought you should know about now," Swift wrote. Swift shared that she asked her mom to get screened for health issues as a Christmas gift to her this past year, to ease some worries. Unfortunately, the results came back and revealed she does have cancer.
Swift says she's sharing the information because she hopes this will encourage her fans to encourage their own parents to be proactive about their health.
Swift's full Tumblr message, titled "Just so you know...," can be read below.
"Hey guys,
I'm writing to you with an update I wish I wasn't giving you, but it's important and I'm used to sharing important events in my life with you. Usually when things happen to me, I process them and then write music about how I feel, and you hear it much later. This is something my family and I thought you should know about now.
For Christmas this year, I asked my mom that one of her gifts to me be her going to the doctor to get screened for any health issues, just to ease some worries of mine. She agreed, and went in to get checked. There were no red flags and she felt perfectly fine, but she did it just to get me and my brother off her case about it.
The results came in, and I'm saddened to tell you that my mom has been diagnosed with cancer. I'd like to keep the details of her condition and treatment plans private, but she wanted you to know.
She wanted you to know because your parents may be too busy juggling everything they've got going on to go to the doctor, and maybe you reminding them to go get checked for cancer could possibly lead to an early diagnosis and an easier battle… Or peace of mind in knowing that they're healthy and there's nothing to worry about. She wanted you to know why she may not be at as many shows this tour. She's got an important battle to fight.
Thank you for caring about my family so much that she would want me to share this information with you.
I hope and pray that you never get news like this.
Love you.
Taylor"

Foxes The Band Of The Day

Foxes Is The Band Of the  Day.

Louisa Rose Allen (born 29 April 1989), better known by her stage name Foxes, is a British singer and songwriter originally from Southampton and now based in London. She is best known for her featured vocals on Zedd’s song “Clarity”, which peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number one of the US Hot Dance Club Songs, and “Let Go for Tonight” which entered the UK Singles Chart at number seven on 8 March 2014. On 26 January 2014, she won her first Grammy Award, winning Best Dance Recording at the 56th Grammy Awards for “Clarity”.

On her website, Allen explained the origin of her stage name. Allen’s mother had described a “haunting and beautiful” dream in which foxes ran down their street, howling. Allen, who had been attempting to find a suitable stage name, settled on “Foxes”. She found the name fitting because it reflected her music: she had titled her first song “Like Foxes Do” and many of her subsequent songs were about animals. She considered training to be a beauty therapist in her hometown of Southampton but moved to London when she was 18, following her sister and brother, and attended music college. She began doing gigs as “Foxes” in London, UK in 2011.

Allen rose to fame when she was featured in Zedd’s “Clarity”. It charted in numerous countries, including debuting within the top ten at eight in Billboard Hot 100. The song reached Double Platinum in Australia, Platinum in the U.S. and Canada, Gold in New Zealand.

She has released a single and an EP, Warrior, as ‘Foxes’, working with Sam Dixon. Both tracks from debut single “Youth” were featured in Gossip Girl. She also worked with Fall Out Boy on the song “Just One Yesterday” and its music video. “Youth” (including remixes from Danny Howard, Breakage, Le Youth, Nate Goldsmith and Maze & Masters) has so far garnered millions combined SoundCloud and YouTube plays between them. Another single, “Beauty Queen”, was released on 13 May 2013. She was signed to RCA, who re-released her single “Youth” on 21 August 2013,with a remix EP being released on 27 October 2013. Foxes is working on her debut album to be released at the beginning of 2014 by RCA. She says the album has a “dark streak… as well as a pop element that runs through it.” On 31 October, Foxes revealed the name of her debut album to be Glorious. On 4 November, she unveiled the album cover along with the tracklist through Instagram, including 11 tracks on the standard version and 16 on the deluxe version. A brand new recorded version of “Let Go for Tonight” was released on 23 February 2014, charting in the UK at number seven and becoming her most successful single to date.

After some time, Foxes released the single: “Holding Onto Heaven” on 17 December which was available as a free download from iTunes for Christmas. The album’s release date is expected to be on 12 May 2014

Foxes is also featured on Fall Out Boy’s song “Just One Yesterday” from their new album Save Rock and Roll.

IIRIS The Band Of The Day

Today we have favourite IIRIS as The Band Of the  Day.

Iiris Vesik (born 16 July 1991), as an artist better known mononymously as Iiris, is an Estonian singer-songwriter and stage actress. 2010 was a year that rocketed Iiris into the spotlight. After the showcase festival „Tallinn Music Week“, Iiris got people talking. At the beginning of 2011 Iiris became the artist of the week on MTV Iggy’s blog – “A depressingly few amount of bands have “it.” In fact, I’m pretty sure I didn’t know what “it” was, until I listened to Estonian singer/songwriter/pianist Iiris. Because whatever “it” is, she definitely has it. Iiris has the eclecticism, the smarts, the innovation, the pop sound, not to mention the adorable/pretty image to become a huge mega mega, mega star.”

Iiris has been compared to many of the greats – Björk, Kate Bush, Regina Spektor and even Florence & The Machine, but she`s always managed to remain original and unique. Her vocals sound hypnotic and fairy-like, she can be commanding and agressive, but when she sits down behind her piano and bares it all – you cannot help but to surrender to this Estonian girl`s talent & beauty. Her debut album “The Magic Gift Box” was released on March 28th 2012 on EMI Music Finland which was nominated for 5 Estonian Music Awards, incl best album, best female artist and best pop album

“Especially good performance and great songwriting”, said Dietmar Schwenger of MusikWoche.

Iiris is an artist who is born to be on stage. Wherever she`s been, wherever she`s performed, audience has been left in awe:

“What time is it? Did I miss the first bands playing tonight? Iiris is owning the stage like a headlining act.” (The Reykjavik Grapevine)

“Iiris is in search of strange soundscapes and alt-rock with delicately bold vocals, and it works.” (NME blog)

“The band’s intense energy and interdynamics, as well as Iiris’s (lead vocals) bubbly personality and control of the stage set an extraordinary tone for the rest of the evening.” (Nutflicks)

“Iiris was out of this world. She was full of confidence and sparked the joy of being onstage. (Soundi).

VIDEO: Kendall & Kylie Spring Collection

Get swept into a springtime daydream with this light and airy collection, where ivories and soft rose hues make up a modern yet sophisticated palette. These perfect spring looks combine soft medallion prints to lace and lightweight fabrics and pair back perfectly to your light wash denim. Music by XYLØ

The Jenner sisters go from sunny California girls to creepy ‘The Shining’ style twins in the latest promo video for their upcoming PacSun clothing line.
The ‘Kendall & Kylie Spring Collection’ video is dreamy, mysterious and a bit weird, as the girls are shown lounging around in what looks like an abandoned mansion.

The older video promo 2014 was creepy to.

Smashing Pumpkins, Marilyn Manson Plot End Times Tour

Alt-rock heroes will make co-headlining trek across the United States this summer

Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson will embark on a co-headlining jaunt dubbed The End Times Tour this summer.

Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson will be spreading Nineties angst and nostalgia across the United States this summer when they embark on their co-headlining tour dubbed, The End Times.
The 23-date trek kicks off July 7th at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, California and concludes August 8th at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tickets will go on sale April 3rd, while more information will be made available on the Pumpkins' and Manson's respective websites. A full list of tour dates is below.
While Manson has spent a good chunk of 2015 on the road in support of his latest LP, The Pale Emperor, The End Times tour will mark the first significant set of live dates for Smashing Pumpkins following the release of their eighth album, Monuments To An Elegy. Billy Corgan and Co. did play a handful of shows upon the album's release last December, with Rage Against the Machine drummer Brad Wilk and Killers bassist Mark Stoermer comprising the band's rhythm section; no word yet on whether they'll rejoin the Pumpkins this summer.
Manson joined Corgan at one of those initial Monuments shows in London, performing his own single, "Third Day of a Seven Day Binge," and assisting the Pumpkins on Adore's "Ava Adore." The moment seemed to settle a brief feud between the two, which ostensibly began — per an interview Manson gave to Larry King in 2013 — after the shock rocker suggested to Corgan that "it would be a good marketing idea that if he sold Charlie Brown T-shirts and bald caps at concerts."

The End Times tour dates

July 9 — Irvine, CA @ Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre
July 10 — Las Vegas, NV @ The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Hear David Duchovny's Moody Alt-Rock From Debut Album

LP comes out same month actor appears on new show 'Aquarius'

David Duchovny will release his first album of music, Hell or Highwater, this spring. The record contains 12 songs that the X-Files and Californication actor composed himself.

Preview a Cure-like instrumental section of "Hell or Highwater" and the record's upbeat, indie-folk-leaning "Another Year" below. The title track is out now; the full LP is due out May 12th.
"Making this record is a dream come true, but I never had this dream – it's still a shock when I think about how all this music happened," Duchovny said in a statement. "What I do know is that I feel these songs represent the truest expression that I've ever been able to achieve and I look forward to sharing it with everyone."

The actor discussed his foray into music with Rolling Stone last year, comparing its sound to Wilco and R.E.M. but qualifying those references by saying he wished it sounded like that "in [his] wildest dreams." Duchovny first picked up a guitar a few years ago, learning Flaming Lips' "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" as his first song on the instrument. Ultimately, his interest in playing guitar dovetailed into his interest in writing poetry.

"Once I started playing music, I started thinking, 'Gee, I should be able to write lyrics,'" Duchovny said. "And I just fell backwards into the whole thing. It's just been a real pleasure in my life, regardless of who buys it and what people think of it when it comes out. It's been a lifesaver just to be able to play music, write songs and think about singing songs to friends."
With the album on its way, right now is a very busy time for Duchovny. He's written an "allegorical story" in the form of a novel, Holy Cow, which came out earlier this year. And he also has signed on to do a limited run of new X-Files episodes, also with Gillian Anderson and series creator Chris Carter back on board.
But first, he will star in NBC's Aquarius, a period drama set in the Sixties in which Duchovny plays a cop who's on the hunt for a killer that turns out to be the Manson Family. "It's [set in] a very interesting time period for the country," he told Rolling Stone. "Still, to this day, there's a lot of mystique about the promise of the Sixties and what went wrong there and what's gone wrong since. You had Manson on one hand, and the dark side of the Sixties, and you've got peace, love and Flower Power on the light side. There's a lot to work with."
Aquarius is set to premiere in May.

Kylie Minogue The Band Of The Day

Today i  provide Kylie Minogue as The Band Of the  Day.

Kylie Minogue (born May 28, 1968, in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian singer who rose to fame after starring in the Australian TV soap Neighbours. Whilst her cover of The Loco-Motion in 1987 reached the Australian #1 spot, it was the Stock Aitken Waterman ‘hit factory’ which produced her first UK chart-topper, I Should Be So Lucky, in 1988. Throughout the late 1980s, Minogue was a phenomenon in both Australia and the UK, and also saw success in Asia and Europe.

Minogue went on to have the most number of consecutive UK top ten hits of any new artist. However, she left Stock Aitken Waterman and PWL Studios in 1992 and signed with Deconstruction (through BMG). Her next single, “Confide in Me”, reached number one in Australia and was a hit in several European countries in 1994, and a duet with Nick Cave, “Where the Wild Roses Grow”, brought Minogue a greater degree of artistic credibility. Drawing inspiration from a range of musical styles and artists, Minogue took creative control over the songwriting for her next album, Impossible Princess (1997). Parting ways with Deconstruction, she spent a short time in the musical wilderness before pulling on a pair of gold hotpants and returning to her pop roots with the #1 hit Spinning Around. Her music videos showed a more sexually provocative and flirtatious personality and several hit singles followed.

Minogue’s biggest hit to date is Can’t Get You Out of My Head, from the globally successful album Fever. It reached #1 in 40 countries, including the US, a market in which Minogue had previously received little recognition and has sold over ten million copies worldwide. She has become one of the most successful female recording artists in the world with #1 hits spanning three decades, and is considered a national treasure in both the UK and her native Australia.

In 2005, midway through her Showgirl: The Greatest Hits Tour, Minogue was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer, causing her to halt the Australian leg of her tour. The news shocked both fans and non-fans alike, and the ‘Kylie effect’ was felt by breast cancer charities - both in terms of donations and the upsurge of queries from concerned women of all ages. Through her personal suffering, Minogue had inadvertently increased global awareness of breast cancer issues. After successfully coming through a tough twelve-month battle with the disease, in early July 2006 Minogue announced rescheduled dates of her now renamed Showgirl: The Homecoming Tour - fulfilling her Australian dates with a concert on November 11, 2006 in Sydney, along with extra dates, taking the updated show back to London and Manchester in January 2007.

Although now more prominent in music, Minogue makes an occasional return to acting - her most recent project being her well-publicized appearance alongside David Tennant in the Doctor Who Christmas 2007 episode, “Voyage Of The Damned”.

On November 12, 2007 Minogue released the single 2 Hearts which reached #4 in the UK chart, and which also peaked at #1 in Australia. The album it was from, X, earned her a BRIT Award nomination for Best International Album. The album saw her collaborate with many writers and producers including the Freemasons and Calvin Harris. The following year, Minogue won the Best International Female Solo Artist award at the 2008 BRIT Awards, and in May also received the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, France’s highest cultural honor.

On December 1, 2008, Coldplay released “Lhuna”, a collaborative project with Minogue, at the launch of the (RED)WIRE™ website to mark World AIDS Day 2008. This would be the world premiere of the song.

Minogue’s tenth studio album, X, received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Electronic/Dance Album of 2009. It was her fifth Grammy Award nomination.

In 2010,Minogue released her 11th studio album titled Aphrodite, preceeded by the hit single All the Lovers, one of her most succesful singles to date. With Aphrodite,Minogue became the first female artist ever to have #1 albums on the UK charts for 4 consecutive decades. In 2011,she embarked on the Les Folies Tour, which travelled to 5 continents, and was seen by over 600,000 fans worldwide. Minogue made history in the United States for having two songs inside the top three on any U.S. Billboard chart, with her songs “Better Than Today” and “Higher” charting at one and three on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Songs.

Minogue is celebrating her 25th anniversary in the music industry in 2012. Timebomb was released by Minogue as a single to coincide with the celebration of the singer’s quarter century in the music business. The Timebomb Songfacts reports that the song was dropped on May 25, 2012, two months short of twenty-five years after her debut single, a cover of Little Eva’s The Locomotion.

Minogue also released the compilation album, The Abbey Road Sessions in October 2012. The album contained reworked and orchestral versions of her previous songs. It was recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios and was produced by Steve Anderson and Colin Elliot. The album received favourable reviews from music critics and it debuted at number-two in the United Kingdom. The album spawned two singles, “Flower” and “On a Night Like This”.

Minogue also starred in two films; a cameo appearance in the American independent film Jack & Diane and a lead role in the French film Holy Motors. Jack & Diane opened at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival on 20 April 2012, while Holy Motors opened at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

In January 2013, Minogue and her manager Terry Blamey, whom she had worked with since the start of her musical beginnings, parted ways. The following month, she was signed to Roc Nation for a management deal. Minogue is currently recording on her twelfth studio album since the spring of 2012. The upcoming album is reported to feature works from producers such as Fernando Garibay, Pharrell Williams, Darkchild, Sia, Nervo and Jay-Z.

In September, she was featured on Italian singer-songwriter Laura Pausini’s single “Limpido”, which was a number-one hit in Italy and has received a nomination for “World’s Best Song” at the 2013 World Music Awards. In the same month, she joined as a coach in the third series of BBC One’s talent competition The Voice UK for one season, alongside record producer and Black Eyed Peas member, will.i.am, Kaiser Chiefs’ lead singer Ricky Wilson and pop singer Sir Tom Jones. Minogue’s first episode on the show as a judge aired on 11 January 2014. In November, she was hired as one of the new coaches for the third season of The Voice Australia.

In March 2014, Minogue released her 12th studio album, Kiss Me Once. The album featured contributions from Sia Furler, Mike Del Rio, Cutfather, Pharell Williams, MNEK and Ariel Rechtshaid. It peaked at number one in Australia and number two in the United Kingdom. The singles from the album, “Into the Blue” and “I Was Gonna Cancel”, did not chart inside the top ten of the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 12 and number 59.

In September 2014, Minogue will embark on the Kiss Me Once Tour. She is also set to appear in the upcoming 2015 disaster film, San Andreas alongside Dwayne Johnson.
